So this morning I went out to my 2020 Escalade to take the kids to school and the car wouldn't start. Just a single click and then nothing, no slow crank, just dead silence. I popped the hood and the battery terminals looked clean, but the battery itself is the original one from when I bought the car so it's about four years old now, I guess it's just reached the end of its life. The thing is, I'm in a bit of a rush because I need the car for work later today and I don't really have time to drive somewhere and wait around while a battery gets fitted. I'm looking for someone who can come to my house and do the replacement on the spot, preferably within the next few hours. I live in the Mohammed Bin Zayed City area and I've seen a few mobile battery services advertised online that claim they can be at your location within an hour. But I'm a bit skeptical about whether they carry the right battery for the Escalade, because I know these cars need a pretty powerful AGM battery with the right specs for all the electronics. I'm hoping to find Cadillac battery change in MBZ City handled by a fast team that knows what they're doing and can get it done quickly without any issues. I don't want to end up with the wrong battery or have them damage anything while installing it. Has anyone here used a mobile battery service for their Cadillac in Abu Dhabi and had a good experience? I'd appreciate some recommendations because I really need to get this sorted today and I don't have time to mess around with a shop that's going to take hours or try to upsell me on things I don't need. Also, does the Escalade need any kind of reset or programming after a new battery is fitted, or is it just a straight swap?
