Moving to Shabiya - need a decent Merc garage nearby
Bit of a life update, I'm finally moving into my new place in the Shabiya area next month and I'm proper excited about it, but one thing that's been nagging at me is finding a reliable garage close to home for my GLC. I've been driving all the way to Dubai for years just to get my car serviced because I never found anywhere in Abu Dhabi that I really trusted, but that's obviously not sustainable now that I'm going to be based here full time. The thing is I've got a 2018 GLC 300 that's been meticulously maintained and I'm not about to start cutting corners just because it's more convenient, these cars need the right attention or they start developing all sorts of annoying issues. I've been doing some research and apparently there's a Reliable Mercedes-Benz service garage near Musaffah Shabiya that seems to have a decent reputation, but I always prefer to hear from actual owners before I make a decision. I'm particularly keen to find somewhere that uses genuine Mercedes parts and has the proper diagnostic equipment because I've seen too many stories about people's cars being ruined by garages that just don't understand the electronics on these things. Has anyone here had good experiences with any of the workshops around that area? I don't mind paying a bit more for quality work as long as I know the job's being done properly. Any recommendations would be massively appreciated because I'm honestly a bit nervous about making the switch.
